Be on time
We only have a short time to meet, so let’s be there early with bells on (not literally, although no ones stopping you).
Bring an example
What was one tool you applied from Impactful Leadership in the last month? It dosnt need to be earth shattering, it could be something very small. This is where growth really takes place.
Download and fill in your “Take Action” Sheet to bring with you. It provides the questions that will be asked.
Bring a great energy
I went to an Oprah Winfrey conference a couple of years ago, I always remember her telling us that she has a sign above her lead teams entrance door that read “you are responsible for the energy you bring into this room”. It has always stuck with me, I liked it most, because the quote insinuates that ultimately, I have control over my own attitude, weather at work home or on my own…love it.
Fixed Vs growth mindset
The seminal book by Carol Dweck, a Stanford University psychologist, unpacks the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset.
In a fixed mindset, the belief is that intelligence is fixed and static. You are smart, or you aren’t. This was the widely accepted theory of cognitive development
In contrast, a growth mindset is the belief that intelligence is dynamic and that the brain changes based on experiences.
This theory of growth mindset is supported by research into brain plasticity and has proven to be pivotal in helping students improve their academic achievement.

A journey in the making
To do that, we are joining with others in a shared journey of personal growth. This forum has been created so that you as a leader can stretch your leadership legs in a safe environment with other like-minded people in your organization.
The moment you stop learning, you stop growing
There is no one-size-fits-all way to lead. Your leadership will reflect on your own values, character traits, and talents. As you learn to integrate the knowledge to best suit and reflect WHO YOU ARE. Use what you already possess and build more from there. You are unique. Make that uniqueness you’re your own signature impactful leadership style.
