Reflection:
Reflect on a recent interaction you had with someone you lead.
Now consider the assumptions you were making in that moment—were you viewing them through a Theory X lens (people are lazy and need direction) or a Theory Y lens (people are self-motivated and want to grow)?
How did that assumption shape your behavior, and how do you think it made the other person feel?
Would the outcome have changed if you operated from the opposite assumption?
